A £150 booking deposit is required to secure all bookings, with the full balance due 6 weeks before your first date of hire.
A refundable security deposit of £500 is required for UK travel and £1000 for EU travel. Deposits must be cleared 5 working days before your first day of hire.
Driver requirements:
Drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 79.
Must have had over 2 years full UK or EU license experience.
Must not have been convicted of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle or motorcycle and/or have had their drivers licence endorsed or suspended or more than 6 penalty points imposed. "Spent" convictions, covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 may be disregarded.
Must not have had their insurance declined and /or renewal refused and/or special insurance terms imposed as a result of claims experience and /or have had their insurance cover cancelled by any Motor Insurer.
No more than one fault or outstanding incident/claim in the last three years.
We require a copy of the following documents for the main driver and any additional drivers:
Copy of drivers license- front and back
Proof of address- two utility bills of not more than three months old.
DVLA licence code- obtain here https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence
Proofs must be dated within 90 days of the hire date and have the same address as appearing on the driving licence.
Full details of the collection point will be sent to you prior to your arrival. Please allow 45 minutes for handover.
And you are off!
What about when it's all over?
Drop off the vehicle at the agreed time and location.
We will complete a vehicle inspection with you, if the vehicle is in order, your deposit will be returned within 5 working days.
